[QUOTE=WhyNot]
I’m so sorry for the loss of your pregnancy.
If you don’t mind, is there anything you observed that I should add to my description that would be helpful? I do actually have people ask me about it all the time, and I’d like to be thorough. If it’s too painful to write about, just ignore this.
I’ll be keeping you and your wife in my thoughts today.

No, it is okay. I had to describe it to the hospital ER and to our OB-GYN yesterday. Like I said before, on Friday night/Thursday morning, she had blood similar to her period (she says like day three). When I was at work yesterday, she called me crying that it happened again.

I asked her if it was the same before, and she said it was worse. I rushed home, and she asked if I wanted to see it. Of course, I didn’t, but felt obligated to since I had to explain it to the doctor.

The toilet was filled with blood and did have something that resembled a ‘sac’ to keep it in simple terms. Some would call it a clot, but that could be a little too confusing, as a lot of blood from the menstrual flow might be similar to a clot. There was actually a ‘ball of blood’, ovular in shape.

Hope this helps. Life is hell, but the bad makes us appreciate the good that much more.

I’d like to add my sympathies as well. Mrs. Flex and I had the exact same experience some years ago and went on to have two beautiful, wonderful, happy, healthy children shortly thereafter.

Thank you. Yes, it does help, and I’ll mention it to people when asked in the future.
