I just got to recount this. My MIL overheard a conversation between two of her aunts and later repeated it to my wife. A1 (a collateral aunt): Men have a bone in their penis. A2 (blood relation to my MIL): No, they don’t. A1: Of course they do. A2: Well, congratulations to my brother.

This reminded me of something I read recently in an astronaut’s memoir (_Riding Rockets_, by Mike Mullane). He describes a shuttle mission on which the Space Toilet broke, and they were forced to resort to Apollo-style bags. One of the biggest “challenges” was that “it was virtually impossible to regulate urine flow while bearing down for a BM.”

No reason to doubt your MIL, since it’s entirely plausible, but it’s also a very old joke. I heard it this way:
_Elderly couple celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, huge dinner party. Conspicuously absent is their son, a well-known surgeon. Midway through the diiner, the son arrives. His mother welcomes him, and he apologizes for his late arrival, explaining that he was involved in a difficult operation. His mother presses him for details, he tries to duck the question, she persists, until he explains “Well, it had to do with a man’s penis.” His mother loudly responds “Oh, did you have to take out the bone?”
And everybody else in the room stands up and toasts her husband._

Again, I don’t doubt your MIL’s account.

Paper towel=friction. Friction=abrasion on penis.
Tissue is fragile. Spunk everywhere.
Cloth is nice and soft and doesn’t rip.
Or so I’ve heard…

While full bladder erections are most commonly correlated with morning wood, I can attest as a man who often has to hold it in for longer than is preferable, a very full bladder can cause an erection during full consciousness.

I had an absolutely beautiful ex, who was surprised how easily I bonered in her presence - or even not, like when I smelled a piece of her clothing. I was far from her 1st lover, but she was continually amazed how often & how intense the boners were.
1 time, we were driving home after a day at the beach, and she remarked how tired she was, how good it would be to just crawl into bed and rest. The word ‘rest’ immediately evoked the image of her body on the bed - and I popped a woody rite then & there, while driving. She was laughing her ass off as it made me uncomfortable enough to squirm and uh, position it right so it was comfortable to drive again. Yeah, I’m a horndog, but this was a relationship where there were other feelings (besides lust) involved. She was 1 of those women who simply didn’t realize how stunning she was (looked like Jodie Foster, but tall). Anyway, she was continually shocked how the most innocent word, movement, or touch could set me off.

I recently learned that most mammals do, in fact, have a penis bone. By not having one, humans are the weirdos.

Ok, I’m confused…is this guy masturbating _with_ the cloth? Bwa? No no no! You just have the tissues/paper towels “at the ready” and grab it with the other hand to “catch” what comes out!

Tell whoever told you that that they’re doing it wrong. 😛

Oh ARGH!! This is why I hate those pads “with wings.” I refuse to buy them. It’s the only time of the month I wear anything to bed, so the jig is up anyway. But then, my boyfriend looks at me and says, “Oh, are you wearing your little tuxedo tonight?”

Hey, my mother and sister in law were extremely surprised to discover that both SiL’s-Mom and I can poop without peeing (so can both Bros, but not SiL’s-Bro)… apparently for some people the two bits are more connected than for others.

> I’ve talked with several women who believe that men don’t start having erections until puberty. It makes me wonder how many of these women, who clearly never had brothers, later have a son and is shocked when her three year old walks into the living room after a nap with tented underpants.

I was under this false impression until my five-year-old son moved in. One day he stood up to get out of the bath and THERE IT WAS! He didn’t seem to notice but I don’t know how. IT WAS HUGE!

I didn’t mention it to him but asked my husband about it…he didn’t know either. I ended up asking my grandma (my mom only had girls). She got a kick out of it. And told me that both her boys had them sometimes (she was lucky, her sister had a boy before she did).
