I love Ms Ivin’s. Her smile is much nicer than Dave’s. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/W77T_dB7bhE/hqdefault.jpg "Molly Ivins and Ann Richards on Letterman, 1991 & 1992") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W77T_dB7bhE) ---

I just happened to see one of @Happy_Lendervedder 's posts, and remembered that I tend to misinterpret their avatar. I know that it’s a cute mammal of some sort (Otter?) dressed as an aviator… but I keep seeing that cravat as a beak, and so interpreting it as a bird. ---

> [@Happy\_Lendervedder](#): > > Flying squirrel! Our flying squirrels have been very active at dusk the past few weeks. They and my gf startle each other in a regular basis. She goes out to water porch plants, they freak out, she spills water. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/misinterpreted-avatars/1001578.md?page=5)
