Oh, God…! Back in the Day…! My brother and his first wife… out in the Wild adjacent towns of Myrtle Beach.
“Come, try this. Now you’ll need an ice cold Coors draft first. Next to it, you’ll need a tall shot glass ( there might be a word for this piece of glass which I’ve forgotten ) which has a raw oyster and some Tabasco sauce. Now, you swallow the “shot” quickly and then drink your beer.
All set…?”

One hell of a lot of diabetes is directly caused by high carb diets and an over-active spoon. If someone has the basic genetic susceptibility, it really is recipes and portion control that cause their overt disease.
Now somebody seeking out those recipes? That’d be weird and misinterpretable.

That _is_ what the thread is about. Healthy eating for diabetic people.
My comment was intended to point out that @Plutonium_Chef had inadvertantly stumbled on a misinterpretation that had some element of truth in it as a separate thread idea: “Want diabetes? Eat this”

It amounts to “I ignore stale texts from my sister rather than belatedly respond somehow. She’s offended by that. Who’s right?”
But yeah, the actual prose demonstrates there’s a lot of context in the OP’s head that didn’t make it into their post.

Its definitely true that you can’t trust apostrophe placement. It seldom gets used in it’s proper place.
