# Misinterpreted thread titles

Mine is a very niche, but quite boring, misinterpretation. There is a circle of subreddits that modify comics, and when someone forgets to include the original comic the new one is based on, someone _used_ to always say “original?” But that got old so now, the done thing is to use some uncommon word that starts with “o” and has more than 2 syllables. At first it was “oregano” because it looks closest to “original”, but now any long “o” will do. Now, some of _those_ words are in turn ruined for me. So I am starting to read [Exercise for osteoporosis](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/exercise-for-osteoporosis/1008682) as “Exercise for original? What does that even _mean?_”

I believe I am now suffering from what the kids these days would call “brain rot.”
