# Misinterpreted thread titles

[Spent my afternoon humaning](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/spent-my-afternoon-humaning/1000125)

Yeah, I just posted this same thread in “misread thread titles”. But after I figured out what the title _actually_ said I misinterpreted it, too. I took “humaning” to mean something kind of like “adulting”, as in “doing human things”. But after reading the thread I see that the poster meant something like fishing, but for humans.
