It doesn’t have to be like this. I’m not saying it should be policed. Maybe try to self-regulate. Thats what I’m doing. We can be kinder to each other. You can blow off steam without hurting others we should consider our friends. Nastiness does not equal intelligence. ---

Doper flung the insult as a retort after I accused him of being drunk. Seeing his incoherently inane posts, I decided drunkenness must be the most likely explanation. Now, what I said to him was not nice. That was in response to his careless foolishness in mucking up the point I was trying to make: The people of Iran are very nice, their government is very not-nice, and that’s why they hate their government. I don’t want anyone attacking Iran, because of the good people there. Thank you, @FluffyBob! ---

After that marriage ended, he continued in the swinging bachelor phase for another long period of time and hung out with many other bachelors in the same position. I have no idea when that period ended, as I moved out of state not long after. - My dad was actually included in a 1981 book of eligible bachelors called “A Woman’s Guide to Single Men in Chicago” (where he conveniently forgot to mention his 7 children). ---

You know. I do not know. It always causes me grief. I thought @Sylvanz had a good point about misogynistic names women are called all too often. ETA…yes this is a cross all women bear. Have for 1000s of years. ---
