I didn’t follow all the threads referenced here. I saw the quote of what @Eonwe said regarding the movie. I didn’t, and still think the anger it engendered was unwarranted. Shitposting, afaict is calling people names and telling them they are stupid for their opinions/tastes, just to make fun of or belittle a particular thing just for shits and giggles. Maybe I need to rethink/look up the common understanding of it? Again, the way I understood all the hubbub was that she should see the movie before she decided that she didn’t want to see the movie. I also had a rather pornographic notion when cuminsplaining came up. Heh. ---
