So today Im driving in downtown New Orleans, where I happen to glance over at a small quik e mart store and read the towering sign at the roads edge. It reads, “SKIN MILK HALF GALLONE 1.99.” Wonderful. I had a hankering for some SKIN milk! Have you noticed any strange (mispelt) sign is your neighborhood? Please share. ---

A little store in town has had a sign up forever advertising their homemade Sheppard’s Pie. On the pies themselves, the label says Shephard’s Pie. ---

I was in the grocery store and a woman says to her husband, “You want me ta cook some of dat chicken Dog gone blue tonight?” I couldnt help but to laugh out loud, Tried to hold it back but it only made it worse. Near where I used to live in Austin, Texas there was a sign on a junkyard that read AUNTIE PONERS. I saw it numerous times before it hit me that they were shooting for “entreprenuers.” And missing badly. The belovedly weird White Rose System restaurant in Highland Park, NJ had a sign out front that offered HAMBURGES; it was up for like 20 years. It was gone the last time I was there. It’s still called a System instead of a diner, though. ---
