So I’m perusingthe NYTimes this morning(well, afternoon, but ddamnit it’s my morning) and I see a shocking headline.

**Senate Approvess Eating Sanctions on Food to Cuba**

All of a sudden my brain starts whirling. What’s this mean, why what do they hope to acomplish? Will party members be banned from purchasing food sent to Cuba? Will we only send non-edible food? What?
Then I realise that it reads… **Senate Approvess Easing Sanctions on Food to Cuba**

not nearly as interesting. So who else here misreads headlines, subject lines, whatever, and gets all excited, only to be letdown on finding out the truth.

One of our political parties was headed by Mr. Foot.
Suppose he had left politics to supervise disarmament.

‘Foot heads Arms Body’

One of our politicans down here is named Butterworth.

The headline read “Butterworth is closest race yet.”

My brother thought they were talking about Mrs. Butterworth syrup, and then I had to explain it to him. We still rag him about that one.
