Could be related to a current mild arguememt I am having with the ex about alpacas.
Although a spitting, blinking, furry large pack animal could be cool. I am not sure what noises llamas make but I am willing to bet some variation of a fog-horn.

Nope. They meew like a cat. And not much louder than a calm cat. It’s the sweetest little noise. Just before one of them eviscerates you with a well-aimed kick.
