I didn’t actually misread it that way of course, but every time I see that one I think of Spot the Frog.

Sorry for the double post, and also sorry for the non-humorous entry (the spirit of this thread is mostly humorous) but: every single time I see this one, I really do think for a moment that the person has died. The brackets are probably why; they look like a death date.

I posted the same thread previously with a different misinterpretation: I read it as “Bill Maher’s Last Friday”, as in, it was his last show. Now that you mention it, the inclusion of the date probably did lend itself to that misinterpretation, although once you know what it’s about, it’s probably better that it was included since otherwise it could get confused with other episodes.
