[Advice re: Airports as hearing aid](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/advice-re-airpods-as-hearing-aid/1027391/1) I highly recommend against it. Airports are noisy places. They’re like the opposite of a hearing aid. (Seriously, I bet many people who work on the ramp at an airport end up needing hearing aids later in life.) ---
