# Misread thread titles

[Internal Closet Doors - help! With pictures](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/infernal-closet-doors-help-with-pictures/1031497/1)

I was totally confused by what an “internal” closet door would be. Is that a second door inside the closet that leads to another space? Or is “internal” modifying “closet”, so as opposed to an external closet?

And now I just momentarily misread

I capitalized the L to make it obvious – I read the upper case I as a lower case L. The sans serif font strikes again! Of course it actually said “Iowans”, as in people from Iowa.
