Please, before my subscription expires, provide me with a sound or video link to Miss Anderson singing, “They Crucified My Lord”. I’m not Christian, but her rendition brings me to tears.

Great Debates!

For once I can blame the server.

Forget the server.
Would God give such a great voice to someone
who was mistaken about His message?

I believe the song you want is Marian Anderson’s “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord.” You can listen to it [here](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EwljwjOPhs) on YouTube.

Thanks. Not knowing the full title of the song weakened my Google-Fu.

She sang this in during a tour Germany and the audience, who spoke no English, gave a standing ovation, IIRC from the NPR documentary.
