Green Font Color? **Miss Spaulding** … Would you **please** **PLEASE** freaking **Please!!!** lose the green font color on your posts? I could teach you how. But then, we have more important things on our minds. Jeesh! ---

Hurray for Miss Spaulding! Warned against using a nicer font she is now posting in green, I highly approve and in sympathy for her cause I will do nothing. ---

Eh. I agree the color makes her posts easier to skip. I think it’s a little funny to mod note her about it, it’s a function available on the Board and we’re free to mock her mercilessly just as she’s free to display idiocy without us even having to read it. If her posts were normal, I might accidentally start reading one. Being green, yeah, really easy to just ignore. ---

I’m confused. She got modded because she posted in a coloured font? Is that posted in the rules somewhere? Or was she supposed to psychically know that, I wonder? While I’ve only seen coloured fonts used sparingly and on rare occasions, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone modded for it before. Is this a new thing? Or something I’ve just never been aware of before? Why have it available if it’s so offensive to employ? Told you I was confused! Anyone care to clarify? ---

As has been pointed out by at least one poster, people on the unfortunate end of the color-blindness spectrum can’t see green text on a white background. So, maybe a win for them, too… ---
