Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I just had to share this, even though its far from mundane. I haven’t post here in a great long while, and kinda just drifted away from the SDMB community. Except for one person, our lovely tuba diva. We would chat online, and even on the phone and she was a great friend to me in alot of ways. always sharing her experience and just everything. anyway, something today happened, and I though “Jenny would love to hear this” and they I remembered she’s gone. and I’m really sad. and I miss my friend. and now I’m crying. She was pretty damn awesome. ---

@baker Jenny tried to talk me back more than once, but I was always “too busy”. Not sure if it will be the same with her gone, but I think I might hang for a spell. ---

TubaDiva was very kind to me. How she handled this wild, sometimes contentious bunch with such equanimity and grace, I’ll never know. Getting us switched over to Discourse must’ve been like herding a hundred cranky kindergartners through a cactus maze and was surely worthy of some sort of medal. I miss her presence on the SDMB. ---

Heck, she handled my wild and sometimes contentious insecurities with aplomb. She was a diplomat of the first water.
