And at the same time, he calls Social Security a Ponzi scheme. The scary thing is that **Broomstick** is right - he can be that crazy, yet still be too ‘liberal’ for the bulk of the GOP. Hell, in Rick Perry’s case, all it took to disqualify him in the eyes of much of the GOP base was being in favor of in-state tuition for undocumented immigrants of college age who had been brought to the U.S. by their parents when they were just kids. You can be 95% crazy as a bedbug, in all the Teabag-approved ways, but a mere 5% sanity and generosity of spirit may well kill your chances for the GOP nomination. This not only isn’t your father’s GOP, it’s not even the GOP of four years ago. ---
