The part that gets me is the assumption that all these Pubbies now vigorously protesting Romney’s obvious disdain for most of the voters were, only last week, his supporters and presumably his voters. Do you suppose that Bobby Jindal was thinking, “No, I just can’t vote for a jerk like Romney, he’s obviously the wrong guy for my party, he’s going to take us in a very bad direction on many issues, like immigration reform and tax policy for the uber-wealthy, and I don’t want my party to go there”? No, he was out encouraging people to vote for (and presumably voting himself for) this guy he’s now denouncing in public for taking his party in the wrong direction. Well, that was the same direction it is now on November 5th. I’d have a shred of compassion if he’d broken with Romney BEFORE the election, but this new-found set of principles just seems like cynical pragmatism to me, “Hey, a majority of voters said they didn’t like the shit we were peddling, so let’s find out what kind of shit they want, and let’s do a better job of pretending to care what they think.” ---

I tried the lazy man’s method and googled “Leroy Putz” and amazingly came up with a series of links to sites in Polish, I think, including [this](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NILlP5I3Ws) video of a man, possibly named Leroy Putz, doing something to a ceiling with a machine that makes an incredibly unpleasant noise. (Totally SFW, just incredibly irritating to listen to. So let me get this straight. The Romney/Ryan message was “Hey poor people who get government assistance, YOU are what is wrong with America, we are going to take that stuff away from you so we can buy more submarines and give tax breaks to the rich. We think you can become millionaires but if you don’t, fuck you.” And he is somehow surprised that these people didn’t vote for him? ---
