Wow, famous Hollywood stars showing up for a game in LA. Let’s see who is still there after the 7th, esp if the lead holds. This has gotta be one of the best rookie starts in a WS. ---

Two 1-2-3’s for Snell. And one mistake for Yesavage. Pitch counts low enough for another full inning. Even the Toronto guys say that triple should have been a single. ---

Ohtani robbed of a hit. Nice catch! Toronto guys comparing the start to Sandy Koufax, who happened to be shown on the FOX video. Dunno if SK pitched in the WS as a rookie. 11Ks! eta: Twin Peaks theme on the organ? 6 complete for the rookie. ---

Snell has topped 100 in not too bad a start. He reminds me a bit of Tom Glavine. Maybe just the composure and good fielder on the DP. The team that can preserve their pitchers, except these two, will have an advantage. I dunno about leaving Snell in. No applause for him as he leaves. Tough crowd. ---

Side effect of not trusting your BP is leaving Snell in for 115+ pitches. Worked out but now they need the bullpen to keep them in it. At least Roberts isn’t going to Treinen (yet). ---

Trivia: Sandy Koufax was on the roster for the Brooklyn Dodgers’ win in 1955 against the Yankees. DId not pitch. He would do some other legendary things in LA in the 60’s. ---

Something like that. I’m watching and listening, but may have missed a few nuances. Our announcers on Sportsnet (Shulman and Martinez) are pretty excited, so they’ve been going quickly. ---

As any Cardinals fan will tell you the WS record is 17 (set by Bob Gibson). 12 is the record for a rookie. ---

That DP should keep him in. He’s 22 and has every pitch working. It’s not even a save situation, unless Ohtani is going to hit a 5 run homer. ---
