Heyward has had such an awful, awful season at the plate. It can’t feel good for him at all. Then again, win the World Series and a lot can be forgiven. ---

I know the Japan Series just ended; somehow I doubt it was anywhere near this exciting. Though I do love the name Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. And to be fair, I just saw that game five of that series had a walk-off grand slam. So I guess I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions. ---
