Mets fan here. I think that I can hold back my blind rage long enough to type something coherent, so here goes. What the f&_(!!! Bumgarner is 4-0 in our stadium. He hasn’t given a run up in 42 innings on the road in the playoffs. He is a beast, and everyone knows this. So what is our batting strategy going to be? Lets all swing at the first pitch because it is more likely to be a strike. WHAT??? Stupid. Just plain stupid. I knew that the game was over in the 4th inning when Thor was up over 60 pitches and MadBum had thrown 21. 21 F_&(\*n pitches in 3 innings!!! The guy has been known to go 110-120 pitches in a start, and you think you can beat him by swinging early? Meanwhile, Thor was actually throwing a better game, but the Giants were taking him deep into the count and he couldn’t go past the 7th. That is how you beat MadBum. You make him pitch, and make the Giants have to use their bullpen. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! Oh, and as my Dad always used to say, Familia is a bum, and needs to go. ---

I am not exactly sure why Toronto is starting Marco Estrada today. I guess you can elect to use JA Happ in Game 5, but the team’s best starter is Aaron Sanchez, and you’d think that’s the guy you’d want to be able to start twice. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with Estrada, I guess. He’s a good pitcher. But Happ and Sanchez are better. ---

The post season is a horror film. The Giants are this awful, shambling, monstrosity lurking and coming, coming, always coming…and moaning “e_eeeven yeeeaaarrrr bullshit…_.” and the other teams are laughing nervously. Dodgers and Nationals are saying “uh, Cubs, go see what’s making that noise” ---
