So, anyone catch Arrieta’s no-hitter last night? When i saw it was in progress, i tuned in and watched the last three innings. Good stuff. ---

In other words, Marty Brennaman is a really shitty announcer who needs to retire. ---

They were playing Detroit if I recall correctly. Now I’m going to have to go look that up and see how good my memory of it is. ---

[He did it on August 14, 1958](http://www.blogging-baseball.com/2006/05/23/stealing-home-twice-in-the-same-game/). The only detail that you missed is that the second instance occurred in the 10th inning. ---

What surprised me is that he spent so much time on the bench while the Cubs were scoring 16 runs, and still remained fairly sharp. (He walked four, after all.)
