I’m a Paul, so I thought I’d try that. The team is pretty thin, despite two Hall of Famers. C LoDuca 1B Konerko 2B Molitor SS Janish 3B LF Waner CF Blair RF O’Niell SP Splittoff, Maholm RP Assenmacher I may have to clone Paul Molitor to play third. ---

As a potential clarification about your lineups, any player you pick is that player in his prime, even if that prime only lasted a season. So some of your mediocre picks might look a little better in that light. ---

You can add Paul Quantrill to your pitching staff. He might be able to chew up a couple innings here and there… ---

The Dons would have a great starting rotation: Drysdale, Sutton, Newcombe. Plus Don Robinson, who could also pinch-hit. For the rest of the team, there’s Mattingly and Baylor. Zimmer can manage. And for extra credit (a special bonus for Cardinals fans!), there’s Don Denkinger.
