Maybe someone in SF can answer this.
Who are the kids in the outfield shagging fly balls? My guess is they’re local kids that won some sort of contest, or something like that.
I don’t find anything about it on [MLB.com](http://MLB.com), does anyone here have an answer?

They’re really drunken midgets. The camera never zooms in all the way (beards and tattoos, ya know) but they help round out the night’s festivities.

Ah. I see it’s not based on fielding ability. I kinda guessed that.
