An interesting stat: According to [Jomboy Media](https://x.com/JomboyMedia/status/1939915796794192383?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1939915796794192383%7Ctwgr%5E60406ba7a70e4de12046dc4bd0241d257a99f530%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bleachernation.com%2Fcubs%2F2025%2F07%2F01%2Fbusch-espn-mlb-suarez%2F), the same Diamondbacks fan has been involved in an umpire’s review in each of the last _four_ seasons. ETA: the link goes to X/Twitter, though I saw the original mention on [this page by Bleacher Nation](https://www.bleachernation.com/cubs/2025/06/30/cubs-trade-rumors/). AETA: this is a real problem, especially with this same fan. Four years in a row, one fan has affected the outcome of a game. We hear and say that one umpire shouldn’t determine the outcome of a game. But neither should a fan. I don’t know what the situation is in this case. Ban him? Could be a bad PR move, albeit possibly a necessary one. ---
