And the Red Sox sweep Oakland, scoring no fewer than 13 runs in any game. JBJ continues to rake, to my surprise. I’m one who did not think he’d figure it out and was all for trading him for whatever we could get. Hope he and the rest of the offense keeps it up. Today they start a series with the dismal Astros. ---

Earlier this year Adam Wainwright had extra-base hits in four consecutive at-bats: two doubles, a triple, and a homer, accounting for (I believe) six RBIs. He has a 1.154 OPS and has amassed 0.5 WAR as a hitter. That’s more than his teammates Brandon Moss, Randal Grichuk, Matt Holliday, and Kolten Wong. Some pretty fancy hitting by pitchers thus far. ---

all I gotta say since I don’t get to actually watch the games anymore is go dodgers and the giants stadium can fall in the bay permanently oh and the braves can foad too (but that’s because of an ex bf of my moms who was a braves uber fan ) ---

The Dodgers sure brought Colon back down to earth last night. They scored 4 runs before Colon got his 2nd out. He settled down, but the damage was done.
