I’ve heard a couple of announcers mention that today is the first time ever that all 4 of the major sports leagues are in action today. In addition there is a NASCAR race, NCAA football, MLS Soccer, and there was a PGA tour event scheduled but it was canceled due to rain. The New York City marathon was also ran today. Has there ever been as many different sports in play at any time? I’m not counting the Olympics. ---

In a rare case the main PGA tour event was canceled this week , they had too much rain to even play 36 holes. First cancellation since 96. The PGA lower level and senior tour probably still had tourneys.
