3 home runs in three innings, not bad. By the way, why are these games all scheduled for 8:08 and not just a simple 8 PM? ---

Games never start on the hour. That is normal. But the 8pm start is terrible. ---

My initial guess would be to provide space for opening comments from the broadcast team and early commercial breaks (and I suppose in earlier times account for top-of-the-hour radio news). Meanwhile, while on non-gameplay comments, the panoramic shots of the stadium both days have showed some lovely sunsets. ---

I dont think Ohtani can continue. That back shoulder should twist when you swing to get power and then it flies forward. He can try (Ive had a similar injury) but if it just pops out again he cant continue. Also he will need surgery at some point and thats gonna affect his proposed pitching comeback. ---

Oh. He throws right but swings left? Well thats better. He’ll still need surgery though. Otherwise something as simple as trying to catch a line drive over his head could make it pop out. ---
