Holy crap, what a great game to see! As soon as Norris(?) dropped the ball at the plate, I said, “That’s the game.” Living out here in L.A., I’ve seen a lot of the Oakland A’s. When post-season comes, the A’s blow it. That was blowing it. I think the A’s would’ve had a shot at beating the Angels, now I’m not so sure what KC will do. They play like this every game, sure. But they just had to use, like, 30 players in one winner take all. Doubt they win the first game. ---

[MLB.com](http://MLB.com) accidentally posted a game recap in which Oakland won: "A jammed-in crowd shook Kauffman Stadium with blue thunder, releasing its pent-up passion after 28 dry years, trying to push the Royals to another great moment in their return to postseason play. It didn’t happen. Not that the Royals didn’t give the 40,502 fans jolts of joy, taking an early lead before Oakland’s five-run outburst in the sixth inning pointed the Athletics to a 7-6 victory in the American League Wild Card Game on Tuesday night. Brandon Moss was the main culprit, cracking two home runs for five RBIs. Jon Lester pitched the victory. The A’s, not Kansas City’s first playoff team since 1985, advance to the American League Division Series against the Los Angeles Angels beginning on Thursday at Anaheim. The Royals’ season is over." I doubt anyone would get their only news on the game from there, but if so they’ll be very confused tomorrow. ---

A’s fans have finally been put out of their misery. I’ve been following the A’s for a long time, and while this was not their worst season (by far), it may be the most frustrating. Congratulations to the Royals and their fans. Oakland had Kansas City on the ropes, but the Royals kept fighting back until they found a way to win. ---

that was a great game too bad Adam Dunn didn’t get to play. This was his first and most likely last playoff game I hope he comes back next year. He only needs 219 more strikeouts to be #1 all time.
