Actually, I advocate letting the entire process of calling balls and strikes be automated and the strike zone being locked in place mechanically. ---

AARGH - the Giants gave it their best in the 9th sending Posey, Pablo and Pence against Holland, and came up short. Gotta hand it to the Royals, they earned the hard-fought win. This just means the Giants will win the Series in KC! ---

That 9th inning was pathetic. But if they could have just hit one or two balls somewhere other than ‘right at a defender’, they would have won this game, so I’m not too despondent. A win tomorrow and it’s a best-2-out-of-3…and the fact that 2 of those games would be on the road doesn’t scare me at all. ---

The Giants always seem to have trouble with opposing pitchers at the plate. It’s getting a it old, really. On the plus side…walk+wild pitch+steal+ground ball=run. It’s the Giants Way 🙂 ---

This game shows why the Giants only make the playoffs every other year…if they did this every season, we’d all drop dead from the stress. ---
