Meh. It’s tacky and in bad taste, but I’m not offended by it. (I’m a practicing Catholic, BTW.) Remember that “artist” who made a cross out of human crap? Now _that_ is something to get offended about. ---

Which means it would be perfectly acceptable to have Clark Gable and Myrna Loy (I guess I’m done with the Virginia Mayo joke now) as Joseph and Mary, for example. Larry, Moe and Curly could be the three wise men. CGI, baby. ---

I am an atheist, yet I am still offended as all get up at the thought that the offensive shrub like person could be a wise man. I feel happier that he was a 'wise man" in Britain. Those Poms always take the piss so well. 🙂 ---

I see they considered it would be ‘too tasteless’ to have a baby Beckham as Baby Jesus. And yet the irony is that had it been a proper Nativity scene with Mary Joseph et al,they would have had to take it down in case someone got offended ---
