# Mmmmmm. Kaopectate. (I don't think TMI)

Alright, I’ll admit it. I really, really like the taste of Kaopectate. You know, the diarreah medicine, original flavor to be exact. It has a vaguely peppermint yet chalky taste that I dig. When I experience fecal urgency (to use an Olestra warning term), I usually drink about twice as much as I’m supposed to. I’d drink more, but I’m somewhat concerned about the repercussions. I even sneak a swallow or two when I don’t need it.

So here’s my question: is there anything out there that has all the chalky goodness that I want, with none of the blockage (if you know what I mean) I don’t need? The closest I’ve come is the first few moments of eating peppermint tic tacs. But those are hard candies not a drink and the flavor quickly moves on to something else anyhow.

Try Teaberry gum, a personal fave of mine. It tastes vaguely like Kaopectate or Pepto.

I absolutely love the taste of Pepto Bismol. The closest thing I’ve found is pink Chiclets . . . the squarish flat gum frequently found in gumball machines. Maybe we should write letters to the company making the gum and request pink-only batches?

Thanks for the recommendation of Teaberry gum, Mr. Moto . . . I’ll give it a shot.
