I may be one of the few freaks out there that ADDS stuff to their DP. Normally I drink it straight, but if I’m at work I add fresh squeezed lime juice to mine. MMm mmm good. IDBB (who also once marinated a ham in Dr. Pepper…) ---

I had a Dr Pepper made with real cane sugar last week. Damn, that was good. I get it in glass longnecks around here. The plastic bottles are available, but it tastes better out of glass - most sodas do, to me. Yum yum yum. One of the things I was looking forward to about moving to Texas was the availability of Dr Pepper. Most of the restaurants have it here, while almost none have it in New York. ---

Yes, yes, It surely is the elixer of the Gods. My favorite way to drink it is to have a can of warm and a glass of ice. Chomp on ice till mouth is good and chilled than shoot a big swig. It just shocks the tastebuds into bliss. ---

Come to think of it. Out here in California I’ve noticed all the fast food places have Mr. Pibb. I haven’t seen Dr. Pepper at a restaurant or fast food place for years. They have a new Mr. Pibb out now though, Pibb Extra I think it is, I tried it the other day… I gotta say, DP has some competition! ---

Dr. Thunder is the Dr. Pepper knock off. However, it actually tastes like DP and is much cheaper, though I feel like a traitor every time I drink it. ---

About two months ago I was drinking about 12 cans a day, but in this heat, it wasn’t too good. I decrased my intake to about 8 per day at most, with a little Gatorade thrown in to balance things out. I like Dr Pepper a bit more these days, as I find it to be easier on the stomach. ---
