There have been some great lines over in the [Air Traffic Controller + kid](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=554474) thread. I’m a particular fan of “Looks like The Order Of The Perpetually Twisted Knicker has a lot of new members” and “Sometimes I think the SDMB is half-composed of a Turing experiment that is only partially completed and chock full of bugs.” I wanna be in the Order of the Perpetually Twisted Knicker. 😃 ---

I need you all to join in my campaign to prohibit video teleconferences on Friday afternoons, especially when they cause you to stay late. Yes, I have a VTC tomorrow. At 3:15. I usually leave work by 2:30. I’ll be lucky to get out by 4:30 tomorrow. I am not a happy camper. I hope it gets cancelled, which is why I’m going in my normal time instead of 2 hours late. _grrrrrrrr_ On the other hand, it’s a gorgeous day, sunny and severe blue sky. It was a tad windy, but overall, a loverly day. I’ve got a humongo pot o’sketty sauce simmering away. Some will be supper, the rest will be frozen for future meals. Yum. **BBBobbio** , \*\*FCD \*\*was blowing stuff up last week for work. He said when they do the next round of tests later in the spring, I can go along. Woohoo!! If I don’t post tomorrow, you’ll know I shish-kebabbed my team leader and they caught me. Stoopit VTC… ---

Hello my pretties. It’s been basically an uneventful day. I’m with you on the VTCs, **FCM.** I hate them, hate them, hate them. Our always seem be scheduled during lunch around here.:rolleyes: I’ve had a few where I had to be in at the buttcrack of dawn, and few where I had to stay past my time to go home. Regardless of what time they’re scheduled, I hate them. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ Last night (late afternoon, early evenin’, whatever) a friend came over to get assistance with settin’ up her facebook stuff. I finally kicked her out at eight o’ clock cause that’s my bedtime bein’ as I have to go to work at six am. She was just fascinated by the whole thing. I got her started on Farmville cause I’m all evil like that. 😃 **Roise** (I’m not ready to let that one die yet) I could get OYKW to do anything by wavin’ a bag of those under his nose. He loves pomegranates and paired with dark chawklit… well, he’d either do anything I say or beat me up and grab the bag. I do believe that would be his crack. **Nava** I am so glad you found your driver’s license and can remain amongst us civilized, urbane, sophisticated, suave, debonair and couth types. I stayed home from work today. I am still sick and really shouldn’t have dragged myself into work yesterday. I also had another moving survey done as apparently according to the relocation people the previosu two estimates were very expensive…no kidding this is Paris!
