well, it’s official - I can expect to feel like crap right thru til October. Allergy season combined with my malady will do me in. My doc prescribed Zyrtec, but he’s not guaranteeing it’ll make a significant difference. So he upped my steriods and told me to drink more water (flushes out the toxins). \>sigh\< Another summer of ick. ---

Hmmm… Memorial Day. I’m guessing that I’m gonna be digging holes. Why you ask? Well, since you ask, I’ll tell you. To bury bodies. Well, maybe just one body, depending on how it goes. In truth, I will likely dig holes for the massive influx of plants I’m expecting. Well, _I’m_ not really expecting so much as assuming. I assume they’re coming because \*\*welbywife \*\* (who I love more every day) said to me yesterday: The nursery up the street from my work is having a sale!!! I can’t wait to go!!! Translated into wifespeak, that means: I’m going to spend money on plants!!! And you get to dig the holes!!! ---

**anyrose** - Have you ever considered or tried acupuncture for your allergies? It can be expensive, but I’ve heard it’s very effective. I’ve had it done for other things (I have feet problems), and the results were immediate. It’s a little scary, but it really doesn’t hurt. ---

**Mika** , what hotel are you staying at in Vegas? I haven’t been there in a few years, I know there is at least one if not 2 new ones. Is this your first trip there? Have fun & bring back money. **Rigs** , sorry 'bout the husband and all, I can really identify. Sometimes I pick up a “For Rent” magazine on my lunch hour and daydream. Nothing serious, just that he can be a grade-A sumbitch sometimes, and it wears me down. He can also be sweet as pie, when he makes an effort, so I shouldn’t bitch. Memorial Day weekend - sand and paint, sand and paint, lather, rinse, repeat. Might go to what the Westerners quaintly call a “barbecue” with some friends. (That’s right - these people use “barbecue” as a synonym for “grill” or “cookout.” Can you imagine? Sheesh.) ---

Woohoo!! Just got a call to tell me that my pottery wheel is on its way! _\_ My Memorial Day plans should involve finishing up the project we’re starting on Friday. Or something else - not sure yet. I’ve cancelled my PT for the rest of the week, and I’m going to stick with the ice/ibuprofen/idleness plan. Well, not totally idle - my right side is fully functional. But my left arm shall rest. Meanwhile, I’ve got a load of towels in the washer and I need to think about making dinner. What I really want to do is take a nap, but I’ll do laundry and make dinner. And water my plants outside because it hasn’t rained lately and all of my planters are looking wilty. And that’s all I’ve got. _\_ ---

Of course she will. We’re her friends. She likes us. Right? Right? Calzones baking, bread dough rising, must put other three loads of laundry away and finish all the dishes and clean up the kitchen. This is a lot of work. I thought housewifery involved more lying around being pampered. I don’t notice any pampering happening. I did buy vanilla black cherry coke. I will drink some and report on how it is. I like vanilla, cherry, and coke, but I’m still prdeicting it will be awful. ---

That reminds me…the other night I had this dream that I was somewhere and said something to **mika** that set her off and she got really mad and threw something (I dunno, a shoe, or a vase or a muskrat…something like that) and I grabbed it and threw it back and hit her pretty hard with it. Next thing I know, I’m sitting in police station with **mik** a staring daggers at me, kind if sniffling and crying and a crowd of people are standing around waiting to see what kind of trouble I’m going to get in. And it didn’t really LOOK like her, but in typical dream fashion, somehow I knew that’s who it was. I think I ate something bad that night, it was the same night I had the Lost In Space dream. No, I’m NOT telling. ---
