There’s a pizza chain here that offers gator tail on its pizza. Never had the guts to try it.

I can, however, recommend musk ox burger. From my trip to Talkeetna, AK. Yummy.

I can provide mucus stories about stuff from either end, **donekybear**. I’m coughing up horrible yellow-green stuff from my lungs this morning, and I started bleeding a bit combined with normal ovulation discharge on Thursday…

I had a bite of gator once, in New Orleans. Didn’t like it much. Haven’t eaten it since.

The latest on the Insurance Saga is that there _is_ no latest. I called the doctor, they called the insurance company and then called me back–the authorization should be decided upon either before 5:30 today or tomorrow morning. It’s a good thing that it doesn’t appear to be something wrong with my appendix, because I’d be flocking _dead_ by now, if it were.

**MBG** I finally read the whole OP. WOW. That’s some family you’ve inherited. I’ve always wanted to be part of a huge family like that. I actually am, in a way, but most of the relatives have since shuffled off. When I was young, we used to have cousins’ club meetings in Manhattan at one of the nicer hotels. We’d collect money for the UJA, and all the middle aged and older relatives would pinch my cheek and tell me how cute I was. Now, I have no close relatives on Dad’s side, and on Mom’s side there’s just Brooklyn Cousin and her brother (and their mom, and his wife and daughter). I’m trying to keep a close tie to my brother, but it’s easier with the 2 nephews and their respectives.

**Shirley Ujest** Pente is a great game. If you like that one, try and find Go. It’s the ancient precurser to Pente.

**What Exit?** More details, and photos, of the Jersey Dope Fest, please.

😃 I would have been, too.

**Twinkie** Welcome to the MMP. The chocolate goes to **FairyChatMom** , she’ll dole out whatever she doesn’t save for herself.

**Spatsie** - how is your heel? Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to wear brand new shoes without breaking them in first?

**Drae** Just get better, now. That’s an order. Okay? Because we don’t want you to stay away. BTW - _ **Four** _ trashy novels? They all read they same after awhile, didn’t they?

Congratulations to all graduates, direct or by relation;
Feel better, everyone who isn’t.

If I missed anything, or if I repeated anything obvious, [del]screw it[/del] I apologize. 😃 😉

> I just saw the pictures from the **Rue** pic-a-nic! Very nice!

Me too, only I had to go to another message board to do it.

A guy who isn’t as married as I am could really dig that **GardenTraveler**. And that **Baker** is a cute little cookie, too!
I’m sorry, but I can’t think of a pun for **VeryReb** but she’s a swell person. The rest of those mugs I’ve seen before.
If anybody else has any pics, they could maybe post them here sometime soon? hint, hint.

I’m sorry to hear about you folks feeling poorly, specially **Drae** ’s situation sounds extra sucky. Hope you all get better right away.

Went down south yesterday to wish #2 granddaughter Happy Birthday, (she’s 10), watch #1 Grandson play baseball (he’s 17), and retrieve the GMC suburban (hereinafter know as Moby Dick, the Great White Whale) Wifey bought from Wifeys sister.
The story: in 1994 an old cowboy in Eastern Oregon bought a brand new Suburban with everything on it (‘cept leather seats) one could get on a Suburban at that time. It was a C2500 4-wheel-drive monster, with room for 9 cowboys with their hats off, or 6 with their hats on. Shortly after procuring this beast, the cowboy died. Old cowboys wife didn’t want the Suburban, so she offered to sell it to her sister-in-law (who coincidentally is also my sister-in-law) for a third of what they’d paid for it. SIL thought this was a good deal and bought it, even though she already had a monster truck of her own. Everyone in Eastern Orygun must own at least one gigantic truck or SUV. I think it’s a law or something.
Anyway, 2006 rolls around, and SIL decides they don’t need the Suburban anymore, since they’ve got another big ol’ truck, and so she drives it over to the (Willamette) valley to trade it for an economical little car. So she buys a Toyota, but when she went to trade in the Suburban, the dealer would only give her $1500.00 for it. This made SIL mad. It made Wifey mad too, so Wifey bought the Suburban from SIL for considerably more than $1500.00, but some less than blue book, figuring if we didn’t want it we could re-sell it and make a coupla grand. I drove it home last night, and we figure it got around 20mpg on the freeway. On it’s best day, the Ford never got better than 17mpg, so I’m inclined to keep the Suburban and sell the Ford. I could become a SUV owner! You may now commence reviling me.
Oh and it only has 88,000 mile on it. I’ll post a picture tomorrow later, so’s you can really get yer dander up.

I won’t revile you for being a possible SUV owner, because then I’d have to revile myself. That just wouldn’t do seeing as I just bought a new SUV, bigger than the last one I owned. Gotta be able to pull the boat and haul all the people at the same time, you know what I mean?

**Drae,** I’m beginning to think that we, the MMP, will have to collectively go kick your insurance company’s ass!

Hey, I can’t keep my head out of the TMI spoiler boxes (thanks **LiLi**!). How am I going to not read your puns? But we’re cool. I was just looking out for your future. Physics majors who get addicted to puns at a young age turn into high school physics teachers who torture their students with puns. It’s a never ending cycle.

Got home a little later than usual today. My route home includes the Nice Bridge over the Potomac River (named for a Gov. Nice, not me, dammit!) Today, all traffic was stopped both ways. As I approached, I could see the start of the stop about halfway up the slope on the south side of the bridge. I had no choice, since the next nearest bridge is the Wilson Bridge around DC, so I turned off my engine and played around with my cell phone. For the record, cell phone games are stupid.

Luckily, the delay was only about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, today I had to drive all the way to Leonardtown to pick up a couple of prescriptions that I’d dropped off yesterday. So it was after 3 when I got home. I’m usually here by 2:40. Oh well…

I’m thinking I may quit physical therapy. I just hurt worse when it’s over. I also have this gut feeling that if I just let my arm rest, it’ll get better on its own. Isn’t that the usual approach with tendonitis?? I’m going to do some research. But overall, I’m not all that impressed with PT. Especially after the therapist I worked with last Thurs didn’t remember me on Monday. Criminy, didn’t she recognize her handwriting on my chart? I don’t expect her to know the intimate details of my life, but I felt like I was just another copay being processed. Plus my arm still aches.

In better news, I’m halfway through my work week. I’m taking Friday off - YAY! So just 2 more days to go.

Other than that, I got nothing. Oh, except - nice pics of **Rue** ’s party! **GT** , for some reason, I expected you to look older. You’re a mere child!!! 😛

I need to see the pictures! Where they be?

Well, it’s 45 minutes til quittin’ time and I have just now stopped snotting and sneezing. My face is on fire from all the wiping with the rough horrible work-bathroom TP I have used for blowing my nose all day. Owie owie owie ow. Also my lips are chapped and raw, and I have no lip balm. WOE IS ME.

I have SUV-ownerhood in my future, so I doubt I’ll be in on the reviling, **bumba**. Well, I do sorta have one now, if you count a 1989 Jeep Cherokee as an SUV. It _is_ an SUV, just not a great big ole honkin’ thing that we now call the SUV.

My nose hurts. Ow.

you wear them around the house - a little at a time - you work the leather back and forth with your hands to soften it. Scraped heels are no fun - and much worse in high heeled pumps

If this was school I would get an incomplete. We had no pictures. I will have to beg Hal to act as photographer if he makes the next one. Hopefully he will be willing. The Briston’s little one is six months old already and was very happy and cute. My 6 year old son seemed to entertain people in between bugging them. He really like Frosted Glass who played with him for a while. Manny L was a riot. Lots of joking.
Mainly we swapped stories real world and Dope. It last about 4 hours in all.
I have way too much left over food and drink. I bought to much and people brought a lot of desert.

Pizza Schmizza! They have great pizza, especially if you like the hand-tossed crusts. Their Schmizza beer isn’t bad, either.

No sheep 😉 He took a little teasing. He seems to be a little sick of the whole thing but very good natured about it. Someone even brought up the idea of my keeping sheep to mow the lawn and no one made any of the obvious jokes.

1. Next time I need to plan the food a little better.
2. Have more attendees.
3. Have some people take pictures.
Thankfully my wife is very tolerant and help me host this. She enjoyed herself.

Yay! Bid documents are done and ready for when the ad runs tomorrow (someone want to lease me some buses?), got the last of the fuel spreadsheet done which I was teo months behind in getting to, and mailed off the audits to the finance guy in Kentucky.

Now I’m torn between going to the gym, where I know I’d get a complete workout in, but be stuck indoors, or go for a bike ride in the glorious sun…never mind, I think I just made up my mind.
