And another weekend winds down. Daughter has gone. Truck is loaded for yet another trip to Johnstown in the morning. I’ve traded crochet hooks for knitting needles - gonna go assume the position and knit the evening away. We need a volunteer for tomorrow morning - anyone?? Guess I’ll just be surprised. 😃 ---

**HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAMPY!!!** Sorry to be negligent today although I did send a birthday greeting on facebook. I hope your cheesecake tasted good! 🙂 {{{{{{{ **Sticky** }}}}}}}}} - no need to move on so soon, please feel free with your fellow MMPers, we all love you. I made some brownies yesterday, Betty Crocker in a box, and I followed their high altitude baking instructions except that they came out a bit hard around the edge of the pan. The center was soft and smushy - don’t worry, they were still good tasting but I’ve never had any turn out like that. Maybe I baked them too long? (45 minutes @350 degrees, which is what it said for a metal pan, 8X8, high alt.) Oh well, they were still eaten. 😃 Some of the best brownies I’ve made, though, were from scratch, using the recipe on the Hershey’s cocoa box! Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. ---

It was a good weekend; my younger sister graduated from U of M-Ann Arbor this Saturday with an M.S.W. We were down there for the commencements and then the celebrations, and I couldn’t have been prouder of her. She has overcome a lot of personal struggles to get to her point today and I hope she takes a moment to cherish her accomplishments. 🙂 ---

I like Tao 🙂 I have been using some variation of that for about 15 years now, on message boards and in MMOs, and have had more than one sweetie call me by that in real life. It suits quite well 🙂 Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning the old place… Decided to cut down on the garbage while cleaning out the freezer, by making use of the garbage disposal. Of COURSE I thawed out the unused, freezer-burnt veggies first, I’m not THAT dumb. Except I still scared the disposal into shutting down \>.\< Thought I broke it, but nope, just had to scoop with my hands and figure out there was a reset button. Happy happy! Why does cleaning make me so dirty? ---
