He’s hoping to get out of there tomorrow - we’ll see if that happens. And he now knows where the Lowe’s in Johnstown is located. I’m making an early run to WalMart for cat litter and kibbles. And other stuff that I don’t recall at the moment. I need to make a list. Then I’ll come home, change back into grubbies, and spend some more time in my studio. I got a request for big dog dishes, so I’ll make a couple of them. And I need to empty the dishwasher. And I probably should mop the kitchen floor. It never ends, does it? That’s all I’ve got. Or is that cynical of me?? Sheesh. 8-9 hours… :eek: Just back from WalMart and my 4-item shopping list came to just over $111, and slightly more than 4 items. But they had yarn on sale, and some really pretty mushrooms, and the bread I like was lots cheaper than at the grocery store. At least I avoided the meat aisle - thank goodness for an overly-full freezer. I got an email from my last boss - he finally got a long-long-long overdue promotion, which makes me happy. Unfortunately, as is often the case with really good workers, his workload had been multiplied with no additional personnel to share the pain. And he’s professional enough that he’ll do what he has to do to get it all done, even if that means he never gets to go home. Poor guy. And he’s still 10 years from retirement at least… I’d take him donuts, but I can’t get on base, let alone into the building where I used to work. I need to get down to my studio, but I don’t want to. I’ll surf a little and see if my mood improves. ---
