What is… the sound you make from inside a burlap sack? No? We’re not playing Mumper Jeopardy?? 😃 70° and muggy already, and it won’t get any better till maybe Weds. I need to wash a load of unders, but I can tend to that while I’m doing glazing stuff. If I can get all the glaze applied, I can do a firing on Firday when it’ll be cool enough that the a/c won’t be competing with the kiln. Which is good. That’s pretty much today’s plans. I’m just finishing my breakfast PB&J, \*\*FCD \*\*is off to work, and Higglet is settling down for her post-breakfast nap. Such is life at FairyChatEstates! Happy Moanday!! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, purtified and still caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 70 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90 and hyoooooooooomid for the day. I am irkin’ from da cave today. I have to deal with a video conference in a couple of hours plus I need to upload a bunch of paperirk to TPTB and finish up several reports. I need some quiet to deal with some of this stuff so my boss agreed I could irk from home today. YAY! Ok, that’s all I got. I need to feed rumbly tummy and then I shall begin irkstuff. Happy Moonday! It’s a humid, cloudy, 70 degrees outside. It’s hot inside. I have much to do today, including a trip to MVA to renew my drivers license. Also, Sah-son needs to renew his learners permit, which expired 2 months ago. He wants to do that another day and I said oh no, one trip to the MVA and get it over. Then we need to pack up for the armpit. ---

It’s a holiday here in Canada. I don’t currently have a steady day job, so depending on your views, I’m either being a lazy slacker, or I’m not taking the day off at all because I’ll still be working on the music arrangement. Last year during the Canadian May holiday I went to the US and came back with an alto clarinet. \*\*{{{ Alien }}} \*\* ---

Happy Monday! I had a pleasant weekend, and today doesn’t suck yet. Look at me, being all positive! Tomorrow is the birthday of this sweet, intelligent guy I’ve started seeing 🙂 and I actually have gifts picked out, purchased, AND wrapped already, briefly perpetuating the illusion that I’m on top of this whole “being an adult” shit. ---

There is both a strong summer cold (Herself has one) and a strong sinus infection (friend has) going around. Much good vibes and prayers your way. Both are basically 7-10 days of too nasty to do much but not quite nasty enough to do nothing but heal. ---

The day is already making me nuts. I thought I was going to be okay but the stress of going to my mother’s is already making my body out of whack. I need Sah-son’s birth certificate and SS card to renew his learner’s permit, I keep them in a lock box. I couldn’t find the keys, then I finally found the keys and the papers aren’t in there. I’m trying to remember where I could have put them. I checked my other file box and they aren’t in there either. I’m going to call and see if I really need them. If so then next few days are going to be paper sorting days and there will be two trips to the MVA. It looks like the one up here isn’t busy though, the web page shows how many people are there and the wait times. How cool is that? Then I get a call from irk asking if I can log in because we are busy. For what ever reason my phone didn’t ring and the call doesn’t show but the VM icon popped up. I can use the money but it’s just one more thing to do in the midst of all the other things to do. I hate being unorganized! Oh well, calm myself down, finish my irk shift and go renew my license. Then worry about the other stuff. ---

“Day off”, but I have two exams that need to get taken and a couple of assignments to finish. At least those items will wrap up the semester, except for getting my grades. The local animal shelter is bringing over puppies and kittens to campus to be played with, and I intend to get plenty of fuzz therapy. 😃 ---
