Sure, suuuuuure it is. 😉 My son’s school just contacted us and let us know that they’re not going to re-open in the Fall. y’all may (or may not) recall that we have been arguing with the school district and trying to get him appropriate care (yay - autism!). We finally moved him to a private school, and he’s soooo happy. And now they’re closing their doors. ☹ I am very sad. Back to peeling the N.O.T. Chikkie is almost roasted. ---

All homework is completed, all exams are taken. Now simply awaiting those last two semester grades. While the semester technically ends tomorrow, three of my profs were very on-the-ball on grades (another’s class only ran the first half of the semester, so I got that grade a couple of months ago). So far, I have four As, with the other two classes most likely to be either As or Bs (can’t imagine I did badly enough to drop to Cs in either). Feels very strange to not have assignments queued for attention. On a side note, while one of my profs this semester is a nice person, the workload for her class was WAY out of proportion. I think in a given week, I had as much assigned by her as I did by at least two or three other profs COMBINED. Please note, professors, your students do have other classes, jobs, families, etc., so when one class is almost half the workload carried by a student with up to four other concurrent classes, a job, etc., maybe you need to rethink this? ---

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Although I had to work, my husband have a lovely bouquet of roses waiting for me and then took me out to a very nice birthday dinner along the waterfront. The weather was perfect; 73 degrees and sunny and the view was spectacular. I am well and truly stuffed. Too bad I have to go back to work tomorrow. ---

I think it’s time to go to Capt. Leonard’s again. The house is open - it’s mid-60s, low humidity, slight breeze, and the birdies are singing up a storm. Not a literal storm - that’s tomorrow. So glad I can open the house again!! With luck, I’ll finish glazing today. I’ve also got a couple of loads of dirty clothes to convert to clean clothes. And the dishwasher needs to be emptied.
