Happy Hump Day! Well in actuality it isn’t so happy. However it is a beautiful cool breezy day! My niece is supposed to be coming over here today so maybe she can go through the attic - again. The attic here is a chore to get to, you have to take everything out of the hall closet, open some doors and walk up a ramp that has 2 x 4s nailed on it as toe holds to get up there. Once up there you have to be careful where you walk, don’t want to fall through the ceiling. The area near the ramp has plywood down, the rest you have to walk on the rafters. It’s a job for the young and nimble. It’s nice and cool today so it shouldn’t be pass out hot up there. I love having a real attic, with real stairs, real floors, windows, and a high ceiling. I’ll probably never use it but it’s still nice to have it. I’m taking the morning off irk. I put in for the whole day off but I’ll probably irk later but right now I’m in too much of an ill mood. By taking the day off though I’d not going to be dealing with trying to time things so I miss traffic and get home to irk on time. I can just relax and not worry about it. I’m hungry, I thought my niece would be here already. She and mom are going out, I thought I’d have a little bit of peace this morning. No such luck. Yay! **Nettie** for finishing everything! Just about finished decorating my monster jar. I’m going to take a breather, have some lunch, then head back down and finish the last little bit. Then I’ll put shoes on (still in slippers) and run to the store and stop at an Amish stand for strawberries. \*\*FCD \*\*is taking tomorrow and Firday off - he’s buying the paint for his bike. I guess it’s getting close to done. I guess. I have no idea what the grand plan is - it keeps changing. I just smile and nod a lot. 😃 ---

Back from the doctors from showing her a strange rash I get every spring. Our conclusion is some strange form of eczema. I was hoping for something more exotic but at least I have a term to describe it to people in the future. I’ve been getting this most springs for ages and ages but never at a time to go play show and tell with Doctor Liz. (Which reminds me – me and Garfield have doctors with the same name. Coincidence?) Other than that getting ready to eat and head to work. Motorcycle again today although it is cooler and windier. ---

I have finished underglazing. Tomorrow, I will apply the clear glaze, and on Firday, I’ll load up the kiln and fire it overnight. Record time from bisque to glazed! Go me! I think we’ll have fish for supper. And broccoli. And whatever else I decide to throw together. Time for some TV, I think! ---

Can a relative newbie join in? Nice enough weather but since they took my window workstation away from me and put me deep into the building (nothing personal, just the semi-annual reorg) I don’t pay any attention to the weather (unless the Tornado Siren is going off…). Have a dentist appointment tomorrow, they say I have a chipped tooth; I’m skeptical, but they are also going to measure me for a mouth-guard that I need so I’ll put up with it. Old-guy moment this past weekend; couldn’t find my car keys all afternoon Saturday, despite seaching home and car throughly. Finally found them in my sock drawer on Sunday morning (and yes, there was a perfectly logical chain of events that led to them being there…at least, logical to me. Damn, this getting old business is tough. ---

Now, I’d have gone for **316** as a nick, tho it’s not searchable. It is a grade of stainless that I’ve used in designs back when I used to do designs. So I’m good with **Metal Mouse**. Welcome to our playground. So how old are you? \*\*swampy \*\*and I are the reigning seniors, I believe. And just to preempt him, I’m 6 months and 6 days older than he is, but we were both born in 1954, so you can do the math. 😃 \*\*FCD \*\*is home and we’re going to Kevin’s for supper because tonight is fried chickie night and he likes Kevin’s fried chickie. So much for fish and broccoli. The laundry is in, the dishwasher has been emptied the new load of dirties has started to grow. It’s sitting at 70° so it’s been especially loverly!! ---
