I have all of you beat on the low end. I received a coupon in the mail for $3.00 off of Edge gel which is the brand that I use anyway. The local Vons had a sale on Edge gel and were selling it for $1.89/can. So _they paid me_ $1.11 to take the shaving gel off of their hands. ---

Yipes. I actually have the OP beat. I got a tube of [this stuff](https://www.arbonne.com/shop_online/showitem.asp?ProductId=630&menuId=128&withLinks=1) at Christmas, and rather liked it. I talked to the guy again to get another tube, and the total charge was about $27! Apparently, they sell through ā€œrepsā€ or something, so the salesfolken tack on a few extra bucks to turn a profit on their goods. Itā€™s nice, but yipes. I think Iā€™ll go to eBay if I want another tube. ---

If it wasnā€™t bad enough that I didnā€™t stop with [this](http://www.timetospa.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=TimeToSpaCatalog&category%5Fname=159&product%5Fid=00213&ParentOid=122) product, I bought a package for my husband that had EVERYTHING that goes with it. The good news is, it works worth that much money, and it seems to be lasting a long time. He didnā€™t want to like it, but heā€™s a believer. **Silenus** , that Sail is like walking into the Twilight Zone. It all looks like a dime store from 30 years ago, until you realize that the people there are weeeeird. Then you look at the stuff, some of which might also be 30 years old and weeeeeird. I go into that place when I need some creepy entertainment. Be careful! ---

I use ā€œShaveā€ from Mac, but thatā€™s only about $10 a container. I go through it pretty fast, though. ---

Shaving creams? Shaving gels? Electric razors? Bah! I tried all these- all those expensive bloody razors with half a dozen blades that play Khachaturianā€™s _Sabre Dance_ when you take them out of the packaging in the morning, all the creams and gels that supposedly gave you a shave so close youā€™d be shaving hairs that hadnā€™t even grown yet, all those expensive electric razors that can also act as a remote for your TV- and all to no avail. To say my beard grows fast would be an understatement. I have a 5 oā€™clock shadow that could cast darkness across an entire land. Remember that episode of the Simpsons there Homer is showing Bart how to shave, and a few seconds after heā€™s done, his beard grows back almost instantly? Thatā€™s what itā€™s like for me. Keeping clean shaven is a constant battle, yet I refuse to grow a beard because, well, it makes me look a hell of a lot older than I really am. Iā€™m only 24 and people already think Iā€™m 30- I donā€™t need to look like I should be drawing a pension as well. Anyway, after spending a small fortune on various razors and creams/gels/lotions (and I do mean a small fortune), I finally found something that works perfectly for me, and costs bugger all. I went and got one of those 1940s style ā€œMissile-Siloā€ shavers (the ones with the double-edged blades), which cost AUD$25 and was made of gunmetal (how cool is that?), and best of all, you can buy 10 packs of Wilkinson Sword blades for AUD$10 from any supermarket- and each blade lasts about 3 weeks, instead of the 1 week that a Mach 3 blade was lasting me. So, what am I using instead of cream or gel? Iā€™m using Somersetā€™s Shaving Oil! Itā€™s $10 for a tiny vial, and the label said it was good for 90 shaves. Pffft, said I. Such claims are but mere Puffery, intended to fool a gullible and easily led buying public. All the same, I bought a vial because Iā€™d tried everything else, and bugger me if it didnā€™t work spectacularly. And I have indeed got around 90 shaves out of the vialā€¦ it really has made a huge difference. Now I donā€™t look like Iā€™ve been locked up in a Turkish Prison every time someone sees me out in public! Hurrah! šŸ˜ƒ ---

Fifteen bucks huh? Is it getting you laid any more than normal? If it is, then thatā€™s cheap enough, even if itā€™s only once. If not, then buddy youā€™re just throwing money away. I can get a half gallon of cheap whiskey for $15. You can drink it or shave with it. Might even help in the sack, a couple of bourbon and cokes is just what some gals need to really shake it. šŸ˜ƒ Meā€¦I gotta beard. To hell with shaving. When I do use a razorā€¦a little conditioner works great. What, where or who gets shaved is nunya bidness. šŸ˜‰ I mean in all honesty isnā€™t that the real reason guys do all that shit to begin with.
