I also agree with the Pitting–the guy isn’t the dumbest or least coherent poster, but he goes right from “I don’t know about that…” to “Fuck you, idiot!” at warp speed. You know the expression “He pushes my buttons?” Well, this guy has only one button–you give him any reason, and off he goes on you. Personally and nastily too. Very low outrage threshhold. As for the hijack, to me it was like going into a thread about cute kid pictures and saying “Puppies puppies puppes! Here’s some great puppy pix! What, you don’t think puppies are cute??” “Well, those are some cute puppies, but the OP is about–” “YOU HATE PUPPIES!!” \ ---

Myself, I can’t get past the fact that the boobie joke he held up as an example of HETEROSEXISM!!, the supression of homosexual expression and a reflection of the foolish assumption that everyone is straight was written by…a lesbian. Rather undermines his point in my thinking. All the more when he goes on to assume, apparently, that hetrosexual = liking boobs, homosexual = liking dick “If the gay posters of the board all decided that we were going to objectify people as viscerally as some of you do… speculating on dick size and being generally graphic about it, many of you would whine.” Which if i didn’t know better I would call sexist. Or…what? Andros-normative? That said, I liked the Baby Got Back parody, and as I like dick, I’d be happy to insert (ahem) as many dick jokes as possible into various threads if it might help to provide balance. ---
