Those damn mockingbirds even sing at night! _At night_, for chrissakes! And god help you if you try to do any yardwork if there’s a nest in, say, the STATE because they will gang up and divebomb you _and_ the mower!
How did they ever get to be the state bird? They’re not even pretty, like cardinals or blue jays!
