# mod props okay?

I was just wondering if it’s okay to give **tomndebb** props for judiciously needed smackdown and aversion of yet another hijack by a poster’s pet issue? It’s very appreciated.

You could just ignore that poster, you know.

Also, that poster is just trying to fight ignorance, which is the entire purpose of this messageboard.

Well I made a [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=589850) for that poster.

It wasn’t even in the pit.

I find the mod props\* a little clichéd and tedious.

No, apparently you’re supposed to whine and bitch and bring up every past transgression or perceived transgression of every moderator, past and present, including blanket accusations of moderator bias, heavyhandedness, and outright thuggery. 😉
