The last question in the first quote states that you’re asking if “derogatory comments based on gender” are hate speech. Then your second quote has you asking about the man hands being applied to a woman as one of your questions (which leads me and probably others to the assumption). That’s why people think you’re thinking Man-hands was a hate speech question, because of the order in which you presented them.
