You know, a lot of people are accusing me of dancing too near the line (I assume it’s The Loathsome Line of “Warnings” they are referring to). But, I’m really not that good of a dancer. I can’t jitterbug near the line. I can’t do The Twist nor the Frug near the line. I could maybe do The Flamenco near the line—but, it wouldn’t be pretty. The only dance I’m confident doing well is your basic box step (waltz, foxtrot, rumba), and only then, after I’ve got a few martinis in me. I always keep a respectful groin-to-groin distance between my partner and I when doing a box step (I, of course expect some hot monkey action with her after the dance). I may try to engage in a little flagrante delicto after the dance, but only if it’s consensual. And, I really don’t like the sound of being a _“patsy.”_ I wouldn’t mind being a _“lackey”_ or a _“flunky”_, however—they sound much more cool. ---

All frivolity aside (at least for now), I can live with a note and I can live with a warning. But, in a real sense, I feel like I’m being called a liar: and that I wish not to live with. I do care about the perception of my integrity. I’ve said, more than once, that I did not use **DSeid** ’s fabricated **Person B** as an analogy, or a proxy for **Snowboarder Bo**. It did not, even for an instance, register in my mind as an association. It was apples v. oranges in my mind’s eye. Two separate scenarios, unrelated. You think the \*\*“B” \*\*in \*\*Person B \*\*made me think of **“B”o**? It didn’t. I had the image of a cartoon type character in my mind when thinking of **Person B** (a woman with a beehive hairdo, wearing a big hat, sitting in front of me in a movie theater). That is not the image I have in my mind of **Snowboarder Bo**. I’d be happy to go into minute detail about why your accusations of my dishonesty are in error (logically and sociologically), but I find it offensive that I’d even have to do so. Look at my posting history for 10+ years. Have I ever given any indication of being a liar? ---

Well considering that **DSeid** _meant_ no analogy to **SB** and did not mean it as a proxy either, I certainly can. While I can understand few bothering to actually read the thread, it is very clear to anyone who does that the discussion at that point was on **AnaMen** ’s insistence that any telling _anyone_ that their behavior is rude is “bullying” … or is if more than one does it … or whatever (it was not a particularly coherent argument). The target was _not_ **SB** in any way. Those who read it as being a proxy for **SB** read wrong. **Tibby** read it correctly. ---

It was talking about the definition in a more general sense than in the thread alone. Sorry that you think that discussion of the principle being claimed in a more general, NOT specific, sense, is pointless. To me generalizing the discussion, the claim of what bullying is, essentially declaring all of the Pit aimed at posters as “bullying” was not pointless. Honestly I gave little shit about SB and his mildly annoying tic. Defining any telling someone they are being a jerk as bullying was more the source of my incredulity. An analogy could be made that my post applies to anyone who has been Pitted, but no Tibby was not wishing harm on all who have been Pitted across all time either. So yes you read it wrong. Despite your “hard time” seeing it being interpreted any other way.
