# Moderator Name Calling In Regard To members

And I appreciate the answer. I only use a different computer in the direst of emergencies, so I suspected but didn’t know for sure that some ways of accessing the SDMB would not show color.

**Lynn** , I use a Droid X smart phone. Just loaded this thread up. I can see the colors in people’s posts.

The SDMB is using an older version of Tapatalk which can only do black and white. The latest version (3.1.1, I believe) correctly displays vB formatting tags, including color. It’s a very simple install (just untar the latest version into the mobiquo subdirectory and you’re done), if the admins have a free minute.

Does that mean if **purplehorseshoe** makes a post it shows the poster as simply **horseshoe**?
