Since you don’t want to have two separate logins, could I make the suggestion that actual moderating is done in a separate post? Or, at least, is always separated out from the other text? Heck, even those fake BB tags are useful. As long as you use actual text to make it clear when you post a mixed poster/mod posting, I don’t see how anybody could legitimately claim to be confused.
My main raison d’etre on any board is to try and avoid conflict. So I throw out ideas when I find out there are people who are arguing.
But, then again, maybe you mods enjoy threads like these.
